Leisure & Wellness

Whether your loved one prefers one to one activities, to be alone or group activities; all of our residents are reviewed to ensure we provide suitable activities and stimulation required for a happy life. We often bring in outside entertainment and organise trips to garden centres, restaurants or the town centre.

We promote the aim of living well for all of our residents with leisure activities playing a huge part in that process.

Our dedicated space for morning and afternoon activities, known as our ‘Community Hub,’ is situated on the 2nd floor. This vibrant space serves as the epicentre of our monthly ‘Memory Café,’ a special gathering designed to foster engagement, encourage participants to share their experiences, and cultivate friendships among residents.

Throughout the year, we bring joy and entertainment directly to our home. Singers, entertainers, and pet therapy sessions supplement our diverse monthly activity programme, which features a range of engaging options such as Tai Chi, Arts & Crafts, Namaste Care, afternoon movies, and reminiscence sessions. Our commitment to personalised engagement extends to one-to-one activities for residents who prefer more solitary pursuits, while sensory-based activities are thoughtfully curated for those living with dementia.

Beyond the walls of our community, we organise exciting trips to iconic destinations like Windsor Castle, tranquil Henley boat trips, and leisurely afternoons filled with tea at Frederick’s Hotel. As the summer sun graces us, our garden patio comes alive with the sounds of live music, accompanied by the sizzle of our barbecue in full force – creating memorable moments for all to enjoy.
